How Do I Access the Wildfire Solution for the First Time?
Upon joining the Wildfire Solution, you’ll receive a welcome email with the subject line “Get Started and Set Your Password!” This email contains an activation link, which is time-sensitive, so we recommend using it promptly to set up your access.
If you don’t see the email in your main inbox, check your spam or junk folder. Once you click the activation link, you’ll be guided through setting up a secure password. After completing this step, you’ll have full access to the Wildfire Solution and its features.
What are Organization-Wide Monitored Areas?
Organization-wide monitored areas, or shared areas, are specific locations set up by an organization’s administrator or owner within the Wildfire Solution platform. These areas are centrally created and managed, meaning only the administrator or owner has the authority to edit or delete them. However, every user within the organization can view these monitored areas and customize notifications for their account, allowing consistent monitoring across all users.
The benefit of organization-wide monitored areas is efficiency—by creating a monitored area only once, administrators ensure that every user has access without needing to manually add the same area individually.
To modify notification methods for an organization-wide monitored area, navigate to the Monitor section and select the Your Areas tab. Locate the area you wish to update, click the Edit button, and toggle the switch to enable or disable notifications for your preferred methods.
Can OroraTech Integrate Custom Data into our Profiles?
Yes, we can integrate various data files into your Wildfire Solution profile, either for your personal use or, upon request, for other members of your organization or even across different organizations. The types of data we can integrate include:
- Shapefiles: Use custom shapefiles to define your monitored areas.
- Layers for AOIs: Add specific layers relevant to your Areas of Interest (AOIs) for enhanced monitoring.
- Complementary Service Providers: Integrate data from additional service providers, such as cameras and sensors, to create a comprehensive monitoring setup.
This integration enhances the flexibility of the Wildfire Solution, enabling each organization to have a tailored view that aligns with their specific monitoring and alerting needs.
