How to manage my notification settings

Accessing Notification Settings
Notification settings can be tailored for each monitored area, allowing you to receive alerts only for the incidents that matter most to you.
For instance, during peak wildfire season, you may want to receive notifications for all new detections, while in quieter seasons, fewer notifications may suffice.
- Open the "Monitor" menu.
- Locate your monitored area in the list.
- Click on the "Edit Area & Notifications" button.
- Scroll down to view "Notification Settings".
- Select your preferred Channel.
Adjusting Basic Notification Criteria
Verify Criteria
- Ensure all criteria are correct.
- Adjust settings by interacting with the provided buttons and actionable items.
- Enter you email, WhatsApp Number or SMS Number
- Update related information as needed
Configuring Advanced Notification Criteria
1. Open Advanced Notification Criteria Submenu
- Click on the "Advanced Notification Criteria" submenu.
2. Geostationary Satellite Notifications:
- You can choose between
- Disabled: Receive Notifications only from LEO Satellite detections
- Initial: Notifications for GEO or LEO satellites, stopping GEO after LEO association.
3. Advanced Information:
- Enable to receive scientific data for each new hotspot.
4. Notifications of Cluster Types
- You can choose to receive Notifications only for yet unclassified detections and fires, by unclicking Not a Fire (Exclude constant heat sources)
5. Minimum Confidence:
- Select the minimum cluster confidence level for notifications. Recommended to set it to 0.2 for a general overview.
Configuring other Notification Methods
On-Demand Notification Methods (Contact support to enable):
- SMS
- Webhook
Finally, to save adjusted settings, please click on the "Update" button.
