With its modern design and smarter features, the new interface gives you the clarity and confidence to stay ahead.

What’s New?

The new WFS interface was designed around three core principles: flexibility, clarity, and user empowerment. Here’s what you can look forward to:

🌓 Light & Dark Modes
Choose the mode that best fits your working environment and personal preference, ideal for long hours of monitoring.

🧩 Flexible Layout
Customize the layout to match your workflow. Resize panels, rearrange views, and make the interface truly yours.

🎯 Streamlined Navigation
Enjoy an elevated experience with simplified navigation, clearer visuals, and more intuitive interactions. 

🔁 Easy Switching
You can switch back to the classic WFS interface anytime using the toggle switch in the top left.
Heads-up: the classic interface will be retired in October 2025.

🛰️ Satellite View Enhancements
Under Filters → Satellite view, you’ll now find OroraTech Satellites clearly separated under LEO satellites, so it’s easier to identify what data source you’re viewing. You will also see them in the LEO passes section.

📍 Incident Overview Enhancements
Quickly see the next satellite overpass for faster situational awareness.

⭕️ Cluster View
Spot latest fire detections on the Cluster for an even more clear view.

You can easily enable the new interface by using the toggle in the top-left corner of your screen. You’re in control, explore the new look and switch back anytime until October 2025.

 

⚠️ Important: Going forward, all new features and improvements will be released exclusively in the new interface. The classic interface will no longer receive feature updates.


Finding yourself around

✅ What stays the same

  • Incident Overview: Your main table at the bottom remains exactly as before. You can rearrange columns using the settings icon, close it if you need more map space, and reopen it anytime from the left side.
    💡Pro tip: expand or minimize the incident overview!
  • Time Window Selector: Still in the bottom right. Click the expand button to open the full calendar view and see the hotspot distribution timeline.
  • Map View Tools: 3D mode,, the measuring tools, and screenshot mode are still on the map’s right corner, now on the top.

🆕 Left side updates

  • Fire Spread Tool: Now easier to access:  just click the icon on the left side of your screen, right above the Incident Overview button.
  • Quick Access Bar (left side bottom): Find Product Updates, Help, and Account Settings all in one place.

🆕 Right side updates

  • Search bar: Your main search bar is now at the top right for quick location or area searches.
  • Track Geolocation: Quickly center the map on your current position with the geolocation button (top right).
  • Layers, Filters & Monitors: No big change! You’ll find them in the right-side menu.
